How it works

Two chambers. Two silicone bladders. No power.

Respire Lenis works on principles similar to CPAP — a temporary substitute for short-term use when no electric power is available.

Exhaled air fills a bladder

The device uses your exhaled air to inflate a silicone bladder inside the expiration chamber.

The inspiration chamber expands

The inflated bladder increases the volume of a separate inspiration chamber, forcing air through the hose, connectors and mask.

Set pressure reaches you

A PEEP valve, with settings determined by a healthcare professional, creates positive air pressure as your normal breathing cycle continues.

The inhalation and exhalation chambers are completely separated, and the hoses and connectors are designed to prevent crossover of carbon dioxide (CO2).

Does Respire Lenis need electricity or batteries?

No. It is the first power-free MPAP device — nothing to plug in and nothing to charge.

Can I buy directly from 5 GK Medical?

Do I need a prescription to order?

Is it licensed by Health Canada?

Our Health Canada Class II licence application has been submitted and is pending approval. We are ISO and MDSAP approved.

Can it replace my CPAP machine?

Can I use it as a backup to my CPAP?

Yes — because it needs no power, it is an ideal backup during outages. Please check with your physician first.
